Day 1: Drive from Entebbe/Kampala to Bwindi in Kabale district
After a leisurely breakfast, leave your hotel or place of residence and begin your gorilla safari trip to Bwindi early morning. Using a 4×4 Land Cruiser or Safari van, head through the Kampala-Masaka-Mbarara to Kampala, a journey of about 8-9 hours. En-route stopover points include Kayabwe for relaxation at Equator crossing; Igongo Cultural Centre for lunch break. Proceed thereafter to Bwindi to check into your booked gorilla safari lodge for relaxation, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Gorilla trekking & cultural encounter in Batwa pygmy community
On the second day of your 3 days Uganda gorilla tour, begin with a hefty breakfast and later, get to head trail in Bwindi for briefing on gorilla trekking rules. At your respective gorilla trekking regions, the park official will put you into groups of 8. The park guide then leads your group to look for assigned gorilla family group lasting for 2-6 hours depending on their location, your speed of hike and nature of the habitat.
You will return with park guide still on-lead to the park offices after an hour of photography and in-depth learning about mountain gorilla behaviors. You will be awarded with a certificate for successful gorilla trek in Uganda’s Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Later in the evening, you will head to the Batwa pygmies’ community to share lots of amazing stories, learn about the Batwa’s unique cultures, traditions and get entertained by the dances, music performance.
